Ungarisches Hackbrett, das aus einem flachen, trapezförmigen Resonanzkasten mit 20 bis 35 Reihen Metallsaiten besteht, die über zwei Stege laufen; das Cimbalon wird gespielt, während es, mit einem Gurt befestigt, am Hals des Spielers hängt, oder auf vier Beinen steht; populär in Gypsy-Musik, Folk-Ensembles oder Nachtclub-Bands.
